The images below show the second trailhead kiosk, located at Old Military Trail area. This site is along Ferguson Road, approximately one mile south of 92 Hwy. There is plenty of parking at this site for overnight or extended hikes, but no restroom facilities are provided here. The kiosk is located at the trailhead for Section 2. The trailhead for Section 3 is across the parking lot, to the southeast.

3/4/06: Volunteers from Troop 351 install the new trailhead kiosk at Old Military Trail area. This kiosk was an Eagle Scout project for Josh Wood (Lecompton) with help from other scouts from Shawnee.
