This was the first foot bridge installed on Perry Lake Trail. It was put in place by volunteers from Kansas Trails Council and Sierra Club (including Carl & Barb Ringler, and Kevin Otterman) in October/November 1997. This bridge is near the Hiker's Campground area within Old Military Trail (OMT) Public Use Area. The bridge is approximately 0.6 miles west of the OMT Trailhead.
