The 66th Street Bridge was installed on Perry Lake Trail by Eagle Scout Doug Ingersoll (and other scout volunteers) from Troop 249 - Topeka. It was put in place and approved by the Corps in March/April 2006. This bridge is immediately adjacent to 66th Street and replaces a switchback that followed the old roadbed. The original route crossed an small concrete bridge which is on the verge of collapse.
